I’m all about the makeup-free, low maintenance look but it turns out, ‘natural beauty’ is much more of a mission than the phrase suggests. The hair, the tan, mani, pedi, teeth, laser, plucking, lashes, facials, micros, anti age lotions & potions… Men seriously have no idea. If you’re like me, it takes a whole team to have me looking and feeling my best… So, I’ve listed below some special people and places who will hook a sister up!

I go loco for coco… I eat, drink and now, literally lather myself in coconut. Before you write me off a nutter I’ll tell you why. Not only does coconut smell amazing, and make you silky smooth, it is also considered to be the world’s most moisturising and age-defying ingredient. My friends at Kelapa told me, island cultures have long been privy to the skin secret, refering to the coconut palm as the ‘tree of life’. Hence the name ‘Kelapa’ – Indonesian for coconut.
Your skin’s natural oil, sebum, is of a similar molecular structure to coconut oil, meaning it is easily absorbed by our skin. This natural affinity that Coconut Oil has with the skin assists in its ability to protect it, forming an emollient barrier that helps fight pollution and antioxidant damage. Those with skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema can rejoice, coco oil has anti-fungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties that can assist.
Kelapa is Certified Organic… my preference for skincare, always. Being Certified Organic means that a heat-free and chemical-free process is used to ensure that our Coconut Oil is as pure as they come, and packed with maximum nutrition for the skin. Better for you, better for your skin – Click Here.
